Against all uncertainties and soaring cotton price, the investment enthusiasm of China cotton textile industry seemed never ceased. Fujian Changyuan Textile Co., Ltd. recently kicked off a 1,000,000 spindles program in Panyang, Jiangxi Province. Totaled investment reached up to CNY 2.16 billion and the whole program will be finished by 2015. Henan Xinye Textile Co., Ltd recently signed an investment program with the municipal government of Alaer, autonomous region of Xinjiang, planning to build a spinning mill with 200,000 spindles of capacity. Another 100,000 spindle program was also kicked off in Xinjiang invested by Litian Group. As the cotton production base of China, Xinjiang´s resource advantage has attracted dozens of textile companies to build new mills. Anhui Shenghua Textile Co., Ltd has recently invested CNY 200 million introducing top equipments to build a 70,000 spindle combing line. The program is projected to reach 8,000 tons of combing yarns per annum with CNY 300 million of sales revenue.
