A National Textile Industry Shift Conference was recently held in Zhengzhou, capital city of Henan province. The conference, held by China´s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, reached with a consensus that Henan bears with a distinctive advantage of taking the industrial shift.

Totally 43 textile and apparel programs involving 10.7 billion CNY of investment were to settle down in Henan. By the end of June, 2010, Henan has wrapped up with 417 textile programs with totally 114.5 billion CNY invested.

Henan province has always been ranking ahead of national textiles output. The cotton plantation area, cotton output as well as the output of cotton yarns and fabrics all run ahead of all provinces.
