After check and examination, the target of eliminating obsolete production capacity set for 2011 has fulfilled, a joint circular recently released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Energy Administration said.

The target includes a production capacity for 4.88 standard pieces of leather, 1.86 billion meters of printing and dyeing capacity and a chemical fiber production capacity of 372,500 tons.
