According to the General Administration of the Customs, China exported 1,713 tons of raw silk in the first quarter of this year, down 5.9% compared with the same period of last year. The export amounted to US$ 93.65 million, up 11.4%. The export in March stood at 507 tons, amounted to US$ 28.03 million.
