The figures from the General Administration of the Customs show that in the first quarter of this year, China imported 90,000 tons of synthetic fibers for textile production, down 4% from same period of last year. The import amounted to US$ 280 million, down 4.4%. The import in March stood at 30,000 tons, amounted to US$ 103 million.
