With a new design for the central and main trend area presenting more knitwear garments and using new seamless technology and new stitches, SPINEXPO™ Trend Area will feature the work of an increased number of design stylists and studios.
The SPINEXPO™ styling team believes in embracing change and newness without looking backwards, looking ahead to a new global lifestyle melting the best of European past with the best of Asian future.
In today’s lifestyle there is no right or wrong: we want to move along with the crowd but still stand out. Nothing is as clearly defined as it was in the past, the boundaries have blurred between cultures, communities, the sexes and what is real or virtual.
Colors are worked in themes, and speak of nature’s yellows and ecological greens, cultural blues and recreational chambrays, digital neutrals and homely browns, ceremonial oranges and romantic pinks, each group having its own optical and construction aspects, illustrating upcoming fashion trends in spinning and knitting.
SPINEXPOTM SHANGHAI
March 12-14, 2013
Yarn is evolving by becoming of equal importance to fabrication for spring summer 2014, whether it is a novelty effect creating the surface interest or color effect, or the refinement and quality allowing for the structure to shine, the message of yarn being the hero is the same.
SPINEXPO™ has absorbed and responded to this movement to show an evolution of colors through their tonal families, each reflecting an aspect of this new era for 2014.
