Figures from Changsha Customs show that in the first four months· of this year, the textile export of Hunan Province amounted to US$97.49 million, up 12.2% year-on-year; garment export amounted to US$94.26 million, down 22.6%. The export of textiles in April amounted to US$29.19 million, up 26.5% year-on-year, while the monthly export of garment amounted to US$20.27%, down 52.2%. The export to EU dropped sharply by 30.4%.
