According to the General Administration of the Customs, China´s export of medical dressing amounted to US$ 498 million, up 12.02% year-on-year.

The export fell significantly compared to the more than 30% growth in 2011. Emerging economies contribute a lot to the export growth as the demand on European and US market slumps. The prices of main categories rise moderately, for example, the prices of medicinal cotton, gauze and bandage rise 3.3% year-on-year.
