On May 28, the first-phase project for 400 million meters of silk-like fabric, which is invested by Qiangquang Group Co., Ltd., laid its foundation stone in the Economic Development Zone of Tianchang City, Anhui Province. The project will cover a land area of more than 33 hectares and cost a total investment of CNY 2.1 billion.

Qiangqiang Group Co., Ltd. is a leading textile enterprise based in Zhejiang Province. It is specialized in the development and production of various high-grade imitation silk.

The project is expected to run into production in the first half of 2015. By then, it will become the largest textile production base in Anhui Province, offer 5,000 jobs and generate a product value of CNY 3.5 billion and pre-tax profit of CNY 400 million.
