Statistics from China Dyestuff Industry Association show that in the January-November period of 2011, the dyestuff industry in China operated steadily, with major economic indicators including production, sales revenue and foreign exchange earning by export all maintained steady growth. The production of major dyestuff and organic pigment producers increased moderately year-on-year. But at the same time, both import and export of dyes reduced in quantity compared to 2010. It is predicted, China´s import and export of dyes and pigments will grow in decelerated pace and domestic demand will play more important supporting role to local dyestuff sector.
