The Artificial & Synthetic Leather Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association predicts that during 2011-2014, the demand for artificial and synthetic leather on Chinese market will keep an annual growth of more than 10%, in which, the demand for PU leather with high physical properties will grow at 19.75% annually and the demand for microfiber leather even to grow at 20.56%.

By the year of 2013, China´s demand for eco-friendly and functional PU leather is predicted to reach 1.03 billion meters, double the 502 million meters in 2009.
