China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation recently has published the "Guidelines for the Development of Polyurethane Industry in the 12th Five-year Plan Period", according to which, the production scale of this sector is expected to reach 9 – 10 million tons/year by the end of 2015. The plan aims to develop a rationally-allocated, environment-friendly, low-carbon and high-efficient polyurethane material industrial production system through speeding up structural readjustment and increasing added value of products.
