Large Textile Industrial Cluster Project Laid Corner Stone in Henan Province (02/02/2012)

On January 6, 2012, Taikang Hongmin textile industrial cluster project laid the corner stone in the industrial park of Taikang County, Henan Province. The project will cost an investment of CNY 10 billion and cover a land area of 3.33 million square meters. It is designed to take over the textile production shifted from Wujiang, Jiangsu Province, an important textile production area in China.

It is reported that the project is planned to set up a complete textile chain from spinning, weaving, printing & dyeing to garment processing, leather, shoe making, professional market and logistics. It will invite domestic well-known textile enterprises to enter the park. At least 50 textiles and garment production and shoe making enterprises are expected to settle down in the park.

The project will be completed in 2017. By then, it will form a textile production base completed with logistics, market, comprehensive services, exhibition, testing services, etc. with annual industrial output amounting to more than CNY 10 billion and 50,000 job opportunities.
