Updated: 9/28/2011 1:59:00 PM

The main line of Chinese textile industry´s " Twelfth Five Year Plan" is to speed up changes in development mode, mainly reflecting in five areas:

First, the change from quantity to quality, that is, the change from quantitative expansion to qualitative improvement;
Second, the change from pursuing complete industry chain to enhancing value chain;
Third, the change from migration from east to west to harmonized development in eastern, central and western regions;
Fourth, the change from tapping international market to expanding domestic demand;
Fifth, the change of growth point in traditional industrial structure adjustment and high-tech development will extend from traditional technologies to new technologies.

The basic idea of textile industry´s " Twelfth Five Year Plan" is based on three judgments of the textile industry: First, the power status of China´s textile industry continues to be consolidated; Second, China´s textile industry at present is big but not strong, high-end products are insufficient; Third, the textile industry is in a critical stage of transition from rapid growth to maturity.
